Youth Recovery CT (YRCT) is a peer-based organization that provides accessible, age-specific resources for individuals facing substance use and emotional challenges.
An existing Web Solutions client, the organization wanted to rebrand, with a new logo and website. The goal of the new website was to "inform Connecticut individuals and families about our SMART Recovery Groups, SMART Recovery Family and Friends groups, Alternative Peer Groups activities, and the wealth of additional recovery support meetings and sources of recovery information that can support their wellness journey," said Pamela Mulready, MS, LPC, LADC, RSS, Program Manager, Wheeler.
"Our primary focus is to support youth and young adults in having recovery spaces and communities that are tailored to their needs.
Web Solutions developed a new brand identity for YRCT, including a redesigned logo that features a central lotus with multicolored, overlapping petals symbolizing personal growth, transformation, diversity, and peer support. Web Solutions won an Excellence award from the Connecticut Art Directors Club in the Trademark/Logo/Identity category for the new logo.
Based on the new brand, Web Solutions developed a new website, offering a clean, intuitive navigation system tailored to multiple audiences. Each target group—teens, young adults, adults, and families—has a custom landing page with clearly defined resources, statistics, and next steps. A key feature of the new website is its streamlined event calendar, which allows users to filter upcoming recovery meetings and social events by age range and location. Each event page provides essential details, including contact information, directions, registration links, and recommendations for similar events.
"We adore our logo and the fresh, colorful look of the site," said Mulready. "Young people involved in decision-making around the content and look of the site shared that they found the resulting product to be uplifting and positive. We are so pleased to have a website that we are excited to share with others and that we are confident is built well to serve the needs of all our audiences, which includes individuals in all age groups as well as various professional communities."
